The main purpose of the Eurointergration Center is the development of national
information infrastructure and further intergration of Ukraine to the European information
space in the sphere of science and education. In order to achieve this purpose the following
directions were worked out:
Realization of
projects oriented to the development of National Research and Educational Network of Ukraine URAN that includes the leading Ukrainian higher educational
establishments and institutions of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine. Its satiation
by informative database. Creation and development of electronic libraries system based on the
common depository of database with the subsequent technical attendance; Scientific organizing of research work
and distance education using Ukrainian Research
Educational Network URAN; Creation the technical and
programming providing of increasing efficiency of scientific and
educational activity of universities and scientific institutions; Realization of the projects based
on increasing the intergration degree and capacity of canals
to transfer the database of Ukrainian Scientific and Educational Network URAN
with European Educational Net GEANT within the cosortium GN3, further development of
partnership, common using and exchanging informational resources; Taking part in European projects,
common staff-training programs on the basis of the
Eurointergration Center; Cooperation with higher
educational establishments and scientific institutions.
The priopity direction of the Eurointagration Center is informating European and world
community about Ukrainian scientific and technical achievements, organizing seminars and
publications that popularize the achievements of higher educational establishments of Ukraine,
particularly made by NTUU ”KPI” graduates including the activity of the Fond named after Igor
Ivanovich Sykorsky that was established on the basis of the Eurointergration Center.
The creation of the Fond helps to immortalize the name of the outstanding aircraft designer
I.Sykorsky who was a student of Kyiv Polytechnic University.
With assistance of a great number of partners the Eurointergration Center provides further
promotion of Ukrainian science and education to the countries of the European community based
on the mutually profitable scientific and educational exchanges and realization of common
projects. |
